Picanova with powerful presence at photokina 2018

Picanova is one of the world's largest manufacturers of custom wall, home and lifestyle products and, for the first time this year, will be exhibiting at photokina, the world's leading trade fair for the photo, video and imaging industry. At its stand B-30 / C-37 in Hall 3.1, the company will be showcasing its latest products and B2B solutions, and in Hall 1, the 100 winning images of the photography contest 'Top 100 Photography Award' are exhibited as Alu Dibond prints. In addition, Picanova has also printed large-format prints for Huawei, RedBull and Honor, Huawei's premium brand, as part of two collaborations during the trade fair. The photokina takes place from the 26th to the 29th of September at the exhibition center in Cologne.


Picanova’s presents its complete product portfolio and newest software innovations at its company booth in Hall 3.1. One of the product highlights will be the home fashion collection consisting of high quality cushions, blankets and carpets, all ready for individualization with photos and designs.


In addition to the variety of interesting photo products, visitors also have the opportunity to get to know Picanova’s own 3D scanning technology. This attraction is unique at photokina: Visitors can receive a three-dimensional full body scan in just 4 seconds. This 3D scan is then built into a digital model that visitors can view as a 3D avatar on their mobile phone. This model can also be ordered directly as an original miniature figure, which is manufactured using state-of-the-art 3D printing.


Picanova also cooperates with well-known companies in the context of the trade fair. In Hall 5.2 at booth F-010 / G-011, RedBull and Huawei have teamed up to build a halfpipe where professional skaters will present their skills and can be photographed by the visitors. A 12x5 m by Picanova printed wallpaper hangs above the halfpipe. For Huawei's premium brand, Honor, 18 images were printed on 80x60cm forex, which had been taken with Honor mobile phones. With those collaborations Picanova once again demonstrates that it can offers much more than just photo products for end consumers.


Picanova puts a special focus on its position as an established fulfillment-partner in the photo-products sector. The company is no longer exclusively active in the B2C business but is continuously expanding its B2B business. For example, Picanova is the official fulfillment partner for photo-products for large retail chains such as real.- GmbH and REWE Group.


Besides the new products, Picanova will showcase its innovative technology solutions. For example, clients with existing web shops can expand their product portfolio with the broad range of Picanova’s products by using the Picanova API. Picanova provides B2B customers access to the company’s wide product portfolio as well as their global production and distribution network, which all contribute to mass-customized photo-products at the highest level. Additionally, Picanova will present its Corporate Designer-Software, which helps companies to decorate their offices with minimal resources and following the company’s philosophy.
